Right on Jane, first he looked like Robert Murat, the like the invisible man, and now like a wannabe George Harrison circa 1970.
What is all this folly, and why havent the Police arrested Tanner for wasting their time ?

hiya, can anyone give us any advice on marinas in Portugal, we have tried a few in the Algarve, but they want kinda extorniate rates, so we were thinking around the North of Portugal, we are looking for a long term (annual minium) contract for a 42ft (13meter) sailboat, don’t really know the North of Portugal very well, so would be grateful for any tips/advice/ recommendations?

We read most reassured that the Police have not given up their efforts to secure justice for Madeleine McCann. The Portuguese police are planning to visit Britain to seize Kate McCann’s updated diary. They will arrive this month to interview self confessed serial child neglectors and MAIN SUSPECTS Gerry and Kate McCann and the child neglecting friends who dined with them on the night Madeleine disappeared.
Detectives have applied to examine the diary, which contains Mrs McCann’s thoughts over the eight months since her daughter vanished in the Algarve. Officers took it without Mrs McCann’s permission in the summer, made a photocopy and then returned it. She has been updating it ever since.
What will Kate McCanns diary reveal about the disapearance of her daughter ? is justice for Madeleine nearing by the day ?

I would like to learn more about how to become a translator and interpreter.
I have a degree in modern languages Portuguese/ English by the University of Faro/Algarve, Portugal. In the same course I had German, Spanish and Latin.
Please advise what I shall do in order to become certified in UK for translation. Basically our company wants to do translations and interpretations for individuals, local authorities, businesses, etc.
Is there any certificate, any authorized stamp that we have to use in order to be more professional and certified to do this work here in UK?
Where can I get an idea of the current prices charged by translators and interpreters?

Kate & Gerry McCann were due to fly out to the Algarve. However, it has been clearly reported by SKY News that it was a case of all nine of them taking part or it doesn’t happen at all, from the police’s point of view. Since a few of the group had serious reservations about the value of this reconstruction in finding Madeliene, they opted out of it. Consequently, Kate & Gerry McCann cannot, no matter what they wish, go on with the reconstruction.
How can one blame Kate & Gerry for their friend’s reservations & decision opt out?
To add to this, one must remember that Kate & Gerry, themselves (as again reported by SKY News) had their own suggestion of a reconstruction turned down, many months ago.
Why isn’t that being given any coverage today?

We read with amusement that ‘Psychic investigators from a hit US show will attempt to solve the Madeleine McCann mystery, it was revealed today.
Three American clairvoyants from Haunting Evidence will travel to the Algarve in an attempt to find the missing four-year-old. Producers from the show have been in the resort of Praia da Luz this week making plans for the documentary’
They have approached Gerry and Kate McCann through their spokesman Clarence Mitchell hoping for their co-operation, but have not yet received a response.
One concludes to answer- whatever the findings of the Psychics, it cannot possibly be worse than the findings of £300,000 Mad Marco and his Manuel Detectives… could it ?

Hi ? I am working for a golf holiday organisation located in the Algarve (all I can say I am sorry). Some information I know from a good friend involved with the investigation from day 1 and still in it??..You are welcome of course to destroy the credibility based on that last sentence but I do not really care as it will all come out soon?. Estimated to be anytime now and by the end of the year.
Regarding the parents the police in Portugal do have one piece of very incriminating evidence from the night of 3rd May that has something to do with a telephone call that was made on the night by one of the parents or one of the tapas group. This information is considered by the investigating team to absolutely show that there was no abduction and that the parents were involved in some way in the disappearance of Maddie. The detail of this information is known only to a select few senior officers in Portugal and UK. It was also referenced in the questions to Kate that she did not answer. I do not know what the details of this evidence are and my good friend totally refuses to give any more information despite all sorts of bribes, apparently it is THE ONE thing that the parents cannot get away with so you have to make your own conclusions on that. Why haven? t they just charged them? That?s what I asked ? apparently the PJ feel they have been strung along completely by the McCanns from day 1 and they are absolutely committed to preparing a watertight case that will put at least one of them away for a long time and put the other away for some time too but less. They want to do this because they feel that what the McCanns have done is not only detrimental to the police but on a wider scale is very detrimental to the country as a whole and the only way that the PJ can help the country to recover from that is conduct a thorough court case that leaves no one in doubt of the McCanns guilt and therefore give Portugal it?s credibility back as a tourist destination. They therefore do not feel rushed to charge and get it resolved ? however my friend often says that they know that the most popular period for Europeans booking their summer holidays is January ? I assume from that he means that they will be charged before then. In the meantime they know where they are.

I’m going to be buying some alcohol for my collection and wondering what’s it like there for drinks? I’m looking to buy Absinthe, 190 proof (PGA) and some Vodkas (maybe a Whisky, Red Wine or something else)
I could find all of this in Spain, Benidorm so I was wondering how Portugal compared to Spain.
What prices are the drinks there from the generic stuff to the branded? (eg, ******off to Smirnoff)
Are there any good, cheap shops there for drinks I should keep my eye out for?
